One of the most dynamic university with top leagues research programs, University of Bremen, is currently opening a research scholarship for all Indonesian students. The Bremen Research Scholarship supports students and young academics from abroad to engage in a research visit to the University of Bremen. The scholarship is for carrying out an ambitious and innovative project in one of the research areas of the university.
The aim is to develop and maintain international research connections through sharing innovative and excellent scientific expertise. The scholarship amounts to 625 € per month for Bachelor and Master students (maximum duration: 6 months) and 1024 € per month for doctoral students (maximum duration: 4 months).
The call is open to candidates of all disciplines who have completed basic college studies (usually Bachelor level). Female students or researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applicants are requested to obtain a letter of endorsement from a scientist of the University of Bremen prior to the application. In this letter, the scientist should state that she or he is willing to host and advise the applicant during her or his research visit to Bremen and comment on the proposed project.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated under the auspices of the Deputy Rector for Research and Young Academics of the University of Bremen on the basis of:
* detailed research proposal and rough schedule
* motivation statement for the research visit, including a description of its connection to Bremen
* complete curriculum vitae including transcripts /certificates
* letter of endorsement of the research plan by the host at the University of Bremen
* letter of reference (should contain information on applicant’s academic abilities)

No Repeatation

Sibuk dan menjemukannya menjalani kuliah ini. Rasanya tak henti2 nya kita memang harus menuntut ilmu..Tapi kalau harus di ulang2 terus..bosan juga akhirnya.'
Ilmu akan terinternalisasi dengan kita merasakan sendiri ilmu itu. Belajar menjahit hanya dengan membaca buku menjahit, nggak akan jadi baju yang mau dibuat. Belajar beternak lele dengan membaca buku beernak lele, nggak akan mungkin dapat untung dari beternak.
Artinya kalau dalam proses kita belajar, kita hanya merasakan teorinya saja, apa lagi diulang-ulang..aduh, betapa membosankannya proses belajar itu.
maka seorang sarjana, atau master atau doktor haruslah memberikan karya terbaik berupa thesis atau disertasi. Hidup tidak akan berubah hanya dengan berteori. dan hidup ini akan sangat membosankan jika kita hanya bergulat dengan teori...
